Vendor Joining Terms

Please read all the joining terms given herein and mail us on the email address given at the end if you wish to register as a seller with Alternately drop us a whatsapp message or ping us on any of our social media pages expressing your interest and we will get back to you. Vendor/Seller Registration Anyone can register as a Vendor/Seller with as long as they comply with all applicable Government Rules of being online sellers in India. Vendor/Sellers crossing a yearly Turnover of 25 Lakh will have to submit GST details. Those clocking a turn over less than 25 Lakh may be exempt however it is best to check your local state/UT rules. The following documents are required from anyone who desires to be a Vendor/Seller Shop / Store

  • Bank Account Details including Ac No, Address, IFSC Code, Account Name

Individual Sellers

Vendor/Sellers have to create their id using their email address and enter all the details that are required. Once approved Vendor/Sellers are allowed to enter products/modify existing products, manage their profiles, orders, request commissions based on sales, modify shipping methods and details, manage refunds and more. Before approval, Vendor/Sellers have to provide the following
  • Send us a list of the items you stock/wish to sell on our site with item wise stock quantity, item MRP, GST and other Tax Rates and commissions you can share with us per product.
  • List of packaging costs to be charged as per different categories/weights of items
  • Dispatch charges/courier charges/Shipping and handling charges as per categories of items
  • Any other charges you wish to levy and which we need to communicate to buyers
  • Please note Product costs must be same as MRP and all other charges must be reasonable as per market standards to get sales.
  • The updated product list has to be emailed to by all Vendor/Sellers on a weekly basis so that the stocks are updated. Any changes in MRP, Taxes etc should also be communicated on a weekly basis to start with.
  • Once the Vendor/Seller starts adding stocks on their own, it is their duty to keep the stocks, MRP’s and GST rates etc up to date.
  • In addition to updating their shop, they also should email the updated list to Fishermanshub when an update is done.
  • Vendor/Sellers are entirely responsible for the products uploaded in their stores and have to check the uploads thoroughly for accuracy of information, representation in form of pictures, descriptions and also should ensure all prices, tax and Packaging and shipping rates and information is right.
  • It is the Vendor/Sellers responsibility to ascertain accuracy of all above information of products they sell and to provide all up-to-date the documents.
  • The Vendor/Seller should not misrepresent any products and not indulge in selling any duplicate, substandard, damaged or imitation products under false names.
  • If a vendor/seller registers on the site, it is understood that he/she/they has understood and agreed to all the terms and conditions of operation set above and forth and are not misrepresenting any individual or entity in any way.
  • Fishermanshub cannot be held responsible for any deviation from above points and if any Vendor/Seller is found not to be complying with any terms and conditions above, they may be immediately terminated/dismissed and all payments due to them may be withheld.
  • It is also agreed that any damages arising from non-compliance of any terms can be recovered from the sellers/vendors.
Shipping The item if in stock will have to be shipped within 3 working days by the vendor/seller and no later. In case an ordered product is unavailable, the vendor/seller has to convey this immediately to buyer. In such cases the amount for the product, if transferred can be held if the buyer so desires till the product is available or a refund can be initiated within 3 working days. It is the duty of the Vendor/Seller to keep stocks up to date and/or communicate to Fishermanshub about latest availability of stocks in timely manner. In case of shortfalls, the same needs to be communicated to buyers immediately and a refund needs to be initiated within 24 to 48 Hours of the receipt of the order at the most. In case the Vendor/Seller wishes to handle their own shipping they need to inform Fishermanshub about the same at the time of signing up as a Vendor/Seller. However, the shipping costs for each product must be explicitly stated against each product at the outset. In case Vendor/Seller desires Fishermanshub or any third party to do the shipping, it can be arranged. Refund/Returns All Vendor/Sellers have to suitably and in a timely manner honor all legitimate refund requests received from buyers. It is entirely up to the management of Fishermanshub to monitor and penalize a Vendor/Seller for not honoring any such requests and the Vendor/Seller has to agree that Fishermanshub reserves the right to recover any dues or damages that arise from a Vendor/Seller not handling such requests in an appropriate manner from the Vendor/Seller itself.  In case a product is found to be damaged in any way the same can be returned by the seller within 7 Days of the receipt of the same (Excluding delays in receipt that arise due to unforeseen circumstances like acts of nature, acts of God, Government restrictions, unforeseen circumstances etc. If such a return is initiated, the same needs to be honored by the respective Vendor/Seller within 2 working days. Vendor/Sellers should explicitly state their terms and conditions to accept returns including reasonable time frames considering delivery time, time to inspect and reasonable handling of packaging in their terms and conditions sheet. In case of any disputes the matter can be escalated to Fishermanshub by sending an email enlisting the nature of the dispute and we will try to resolve it at the earliest in the most logical way possible. The ultimate decision to reverse an order and refund the money will rest entirely on the Vendor/Seller and in case of a dispute between the buyer and the Vendor/Seller, the Vendor/Seller will have to adhere to any decision being suggested by Fishermanshub about the same and will have the be adhered to and complied with In cases where the disputes are novel in nature the decision to refund will rest entirely with Fishermanshub will have the sole final right in such matters and Vendor/Seller will have to honour the decision and comply with the same. Order Cancelations Sellers reserve the right to cancel an order once placed either before dispatch, after dispatch and upon receipt of the material. Sellers can place requests of return within 7 days of receipt of the order. Orders can be cancelled due to damages (either during transport and handling or in original packaging), late receipts, product being found not to satisfaction, product not matching description and/or pictures, product not matching the look or model of latest product update and/or because of any other reasons as deemed suitable by purchaser. The Vendor/Seller is under obligation to honor such return requests and return the money to the buyer. In case the product is already dispatched the Vendor/Seller can request to recover the delivery cost from the buyer in case the order is returned due to change of heart by buyer. However, in case of reasons like Damage to product or packaging, product received with tampered packaging, wrong product delivery, late delivery, missing product, misrepresented product delivery etc the Vendor/Seller will have to return/refund and/or replace product (As desired by buyer) and also bear any shipping charges that have accrued both for original shipping and shipping replacement. The ultimate decision in all matters of dispute will rest entirely with Fishermanshub and buyer will have no say in the same and will have to honor the decision made by Fishermanshub. Payment Disbursals to Vendor/Sellers We follow a “25-30 day from end of the month” cycle to credit payments to Vendor/Sellers considering that certain buyers request returns and that book closures happen at the end of the month. So for example for the sales that have occurred for the month of January 2021, the amount will be credited to Stores account between 25th to 30th of the next month i.e February 2021. The amount credited will be after deducting commissions, shipping charges, damages and any other charges as applicable to the store/product/variant etc. The Vendor/Sellers can download the statement of sales and disbursals from their dashboard when they want.   Special Note: Since we are in the test phase for this website, we will be scrutinizing Product & stock updates, order management, order transfer and return requests if any. Once we are done with testing which may take 3-4 Months, all admin access will be handed to your authorized representative for your Vendor/Seller module. As such for now and till such time that Vendor/Seller access is handed to you. In case you have questions or wish to have special commission rates for any product/categories for any certain reasons, feel free to discuss the same with us. We will love to give special incentives to Made In India products and ecofriendly products to promote them. These Terms of Use constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity (“you”) and (“we,” “us” or “our”), concerning your access to and use of the website as well as any other media form, media channel, mobile website or mobile application related, linked, or otherwise connected thereto (collectively, the “Site”). You agree that by accessing the Site and/or logging into it and registering as seller/vendor, you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all of these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with all of these Terms of Use, then you are expressly prohibited from using the Site and you must discontinue use immediately. Supplemental terms and conditions or documents that may be posted on the Site from time to time are hereby expressly incorporated herein by reference. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to make changes or modifications to these Terms of Use at any time and for any reason with or without informing you. In case any Vendor/Seller or their representative/staff are found to breach/not adhere to/deviate from any term/s or conditions stated above as on date of your joining or on any later date after an update, your seller/vendor membership can be terminated/ cancelled with immediate effect and your pending payments can be withheld by Fishermanshub without giving any reason for the same. Also Fishermanshub reserves the right to recover any damages arising from such a breach at any duration of time in perpetuity. Finally please understand that we will try to be fair to all sellers and buyers however there may be instances where a decision taken by a seller may have to be overruled. For all matters of dispute which may not be resolved amicably between sellers and buyers or even sellers and fishermanshub platforms, the decision taken by the management of fishermanshub will be final and binding and all sellers will have to abide by the same and no contradictions on the same will be entertained and all sellers will have to honour the decision thus taken.
