A reel for the masses, the brand-new Daiwa Legalis LT 5000D-C Spinning Reel incorporating ZAION V construction. The heart of this redesign is Daiwa's brand-new ZAION V material. Upgrading the LEGALIS LT significantly from the previous Carbon Light body, ZAION V is not only lighter but also much stronger, delivering a reel body with minimal flex and movement and increased durability especially in larger reel sizes.The spool design features the Advanced Ballistic System or ABS. This technology utilizes a reversed taper to pay out line in bigger loops reducing outgoing friction and improving casting distance. The oversize spool also holds more line and can exert more pressure on hooked gamefish. The Air Rotor and Air Bail are carbon composite designed lighter and stronger than conventional designs. Smoothness of operation is assured by 6 ball bearings and a roller bearing.
