Experience ultimate durability and superior performance with the Okuma ITX-4000H Carbon Spinning Reel. It is constructed with lightweight yet rigid C-40X carbon fiber for added strength and stability. The 7HPB +1RB bearing system ensures smooth motion, while the Cyclonic Flow Rotor system increases air flow and reduces drying time. The machined aluminum handle and 2-tone anodized spool deliver a secure, reliable fishing experience.
Lightweight and rigid C-40X carbon body, sideplates and rotor
The Okuma ITX-4000H Spinning Reel is perfect for anglers looking for lightweight yet rigid performance. Its body, side plates and rotor are all constructed from C-40X Carbon Fiber for enhanced strength and durability. This reel is the perfect combination of strength and lightweight design.
TORSION CONTROL ARMOR® (TCA™)
The advanced TCA™ one-piece design was engineered with Okuma's C-40X carbon fiber composite, featuring a double arm build. This structure offers enhanced torsional and flexural strength during extreme loads, while also exhibiting a lighter weight and maximized rigidity to maintain ideal internal alignment.
Cyclonic Flow Rotor (CFR)
The Cyclonic Flow Rotor (CFR) offers an enhanced level of airflow that circulates around the rotor, spool, and handle with every rotation. This proven technology enables quicker drying if the reel is exposed to moisture, thus preserving its longevity and minimizing corrosion.
Machined aluminum screw in handle design with TGT grip
The TGT (Traction Grip Technology) handle is machined from aluminum and screws directly into the reel for a reliable and precise connection.
Multi-disc, carbon fiber drag system
A multi-disc carbon fiber drag system, encased in the spool and featuring a hydro-block gasket, ensures both dryness and a frictionless operation.
7HPB+1RB High performance bearing
The 7 HPB+1RB ball bearing system offers reliable operation in freshwater and light inshore settings.
Slow Oscillation System
Okuma's Slow Oscillation System on its spinning reels creates a uniform line lay, which helps to keep the line flat and facilitates extended, accurate casts.
Rod Is Of Very Good Quality, Have Been Using For Surf Since 3 Years!! Have landed many fishes with it and have used it heavily but Still it looks like a brand new, material and quality is great!!
I had lost 1 Strom z stick fish lure do to this line, its quality & strength is pathetic it got cut while casting in river ... i was thinking what if i got a strike.
Hi there,
We're sorry to hear about your experience with our Sufix SFX8 Carrier Braided Line. Its a surprising feedback as it is one of teh best selling line with a lot or repeat purchasers. We wonder what conditions the line was lost
Some tipe : Dont leave your Reel/Rod exposed to sunlight or in your car where it gets heated for long, Check for any damages to line before casting and discard that much part of the line, run fresh water on your spool once you get back from salt water fishing
All this helps reduce failure and make the line perform longer
Thank you for bringing this to our attention and we hope to hear from you soon.
