The Prohunter Rankaru Stick bait is a sinking lure and is weight balanced for long and stable casts. It is designed to be versatile and can be worked with the rod held high for a 'walk-the-dog' style or jerked with the rod down for a mid water presentation. This serious blue water lure dives, rolls and splashes with zig-zag movement. It can be worked fast or slow depending on the water condition and your targeted species. Twitched it and it will move like a live bait. Its bibless low water resistant design also allows for the fastest possible retrieve. In that high speed mode the lure exhibits a slight side to side and rolling motion that Yellowtail, schooling Tuna, Wahoo and Billfish find irresistible. Or a combination of all methods will elicit even the most finicky prey. Remember to set the hook HARD. Although VMC inline singles are very sharp and much stronger than trebles they do require a much firmer hook set.
