Our Story

Fisherman's Hub was born out of a shared passion for the art of fishing. Our founder, Adwait & Gajanand, spent their childhood summers fishing in Mandrem albeit seperately, with Gajanand deeply rooted in the activity, he having lived in the coastal village of Mandrem since birth. Adwait used to visit Mandrem, his deity village for Ganesh Chaturthy and Ramnavmi and used to head our fishing at these times. They met about 15 years back and  struck off , heading out to the waters and creating unforgettable memories by the water's edge. Over time, they realized the need for a platform where anglers of all levels could come together to share their experiences, learn from one another, and find the best fishing gear (New or used so that they could exchange it with one another). Another issue that lead to the early genesis of Fishermanshub was the fact that anglers at times barely use their gear before going on to buy new gear and thus there was ample scope to get them to exchange gear among themselves and thus maximize its life cycle - A cause that can go far to reduce carbon footprint and is environment positive.

In 2020, Fisherman's Hub was established as an online resource for fishing enthusiasts. What began as a small blog to share fishing tips, techniques, stories and a place where anglers could exchange or sell their used gear has evolved into a thriving community and an online store offering the finest fishing equipment and accessories.

Fisherman's Hub is a community of passionate anglers, but we're also advocates for the mental health benefits that fishing can provide and are promoters of gear recycling thru maximizing its usage. We believe that the soothing rhythm of waves, the serenity of a quiet lakeside, and the thrill of reeling in a catch can do wonders for one's mental and emotional state and that it can be done responsibly. Our team consists of individuals who have personally experienced these benefits, and we are dedicated to sharing this knowledge and fostering an environment where fishing and mental well-being are intertwined.
