TECHNOLOGY:
The 23 BG SW is the upgraded and improved Saltwater version of the bestselling BG series. Its full metal (Aluminium) body is equipped with a Tough Digigear which is Daiwa’s brand new digitally designed, machine cut gearing system that ensures ultimate gear precision, rotational smoothness, and strength this combined with a screw-in handle achieves incredible winding power. The spool lip is the new LC-ABS design which gives trouble-free casting and has been shown to improve casting distance by 5%.
Lighter, stronger and better balanced than any earlier rotor system the new ‘Air Rotor’ delivers a great leap forward in rotor design and function reducing starting inertia and improved reel sensitivity and rotational balance. The handle comes with an EVA round knob that is slip resistant even when wet. All this combined with the new ATD Drag system that constantly adjusts tension according to the pull of the drag maintaining smoothness throughout the fight allowing anglers to concentrate on the fishing, not on setting the drag.
With a gear ratio of 4.9:1, a drag of 15 kg and a line capacity of 300 meters of 4 PE line this reel is the perfect budget reel for medium applications in the salt and heavy duty fishing in freshwater.
Rod Is Of Very Good Quality, Have Been Using For Surf Since 3 Years!! Have landed many fishes with it and have used it heavily but Still it looks like a brand new, material and quality is great!!
